Accountability has long been seen as punitive or fear-based. The research showed something different. The vast majority of people want to be accountable \u2013 95%. But only if it\u2019s done in a way that feels healthy and helps them grow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s the working definition:\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Healthy accountability is when people win together in an environment where individuals take personal ownership and embrace the support of the team to deliver quality work on time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That final piece, \u201cembracing support\u201d, is what turns accountability from a burden into a growth opportunity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
